Although the light fixture is a little larger than I expected, it is beatiful! I should have paid more attention to the measurements. We had to hang it with no chain, only the connecting link, or it would hang too low over my kitchen island. But the fact that it has 5 absolutely gorgeous light shades that hold 100W bulbs is the best feature. My kitchen is very dark & we need all the light we can get. We had a 5-light 60W fixture there before this one and this is a million times brighter!! We have it on a dimmer switch and don't always turn it up all the way now. Love it. It is perfect with my Tuscan themed kitchen/dining room. The color of the globes matches the color of the globe n the dining room light even though they are not the same company (bought that one at the local Lowe's store.)
